COLEMAN DESIRES TO PASS LAWS THAT:

•RESTORE GOVERNMENT TO ITS GOD-ORDAINED ROLES

Government is created and ordained by God for the purpose of punishing evil and praising the good (1 Peter 2:14). I believe that the defense of our nation and the infrastructure necessary for that defense is within the boundaries of those roles. The bureaucratic monstrosity that we have now in no way fulfills this purpose. My primary goal, as your senator, will be to work to rein in our government to function within the boundaries designed by God and by our Constitution.

•ABOLISH ABORTION WITHOUT EXCEPTION AND TREAT IT AS MURDER

Abortion is completely legal in all 50 states, including Mississippi. Not only this, but every state’s laws give immunity to mothers to kill their preborn child by abortion. Abortion pills can be obtained within two or three days anywhere in our state. Many argue we need to ban abortion pills. The pills used for abortions have other legitimate medical purposes. We don’t ban guns to stop murder outside the womb, and we should not ban abortion pills or forceps to stop murder within the womb. We need to pass laws that give equal protection to every human being from conception or fertilization to natural death and punish every murder with the death penalty. In addition, babies conceived by rape or incest are human beings made in the image of God and deserve to be protected like every other human being. We shouldn’t punish the children of rapists and perverts by putting the children to death. The “life of the mother” is never an excuse to kill a baby through abortion. There are two human beings involved in a pregnancy with a medical issue, and both should be treated with care. There are times where it is necessary to deliver a baby in order to emergently save the life of the mother. If this occurs, we care for both patients and accept that there are times where the prematurity of a newborn is beyond the limits of our current medical abilities.

•END PROPERTY TAXES IMMEDIATELY AND WORK TOWARD ENDING THE INCOME TAX

The eight commandment of “thou shalt not steal” (Exodus 20:15) is as applicable to a government as it is to the individual. The government forcibly stealing our money through property tax and income tax is wrong. No one truly owns their own property as long as the government can charge us rent through the taxation of that property and then take that property if we refuse to pay rent (tax) on our own property. In addition, no

man or government has the right to forcibly take a percentage of another man’s earned wages without due process of law.

•FIGHT FOR MEDICAL FREEDOM

Mississippi was one of the last states to allow exemptions to school required vaccines, and this only under court order. Our so-called conservative, super-republican combination of governor, house, and senate have fought against medical freedom for years. This came to a head with the medical mandates forced upon us by our Republican president and governor at the onset of the COVID fiasco. We must put laws in place to protect against any medical tyranny. The government has ZERO authority to tell a citizen what they must put into their body.

•FIGHT FOR TRUE 2A FREEDOM AND AGAINST RED FLAG LAWS

The 2nd Amendment is clear: “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” We need to fight to uphold and defend this to its exact wording, regardless of the purpose for which we bear those arms. With that said, the purpose of the 2nd Amendment was not hunting or sport, although we are free to keep and bear arms for this purpose. The purpose of the 2nd Amendment was to protect our right to keep a well-armed militia. For what purpose? To hold a tyrannical government in check. They had just come through a revolution where they were forced to fight a tyrannical government via local militia. They understood that the only solution to tyranny is the ability to withstand it by bearing arms. We must not lose sight of this today. With this in mind, Mississippi has not currently instituted any red flag gun laws. We must fight any attempt to bring red flag laws into our state.

•LOCALIZE EDUCATION AND ENCOURAGE HOMESCHOOLING WHILE WORKING TO PRIVATIZE EDUCATION

Our educational system under the leadership of the federal government has failed. Due to socialist/communist indoctrination, the pushing of sexualized materials on our children geared towards grooming, and the inability to produce graduates with the necessary skills for future jobs, the public education system is a dismal failure. The government’s solution to this problem is to always to direct more tax dollars into their failed system. We must immediately bring all education back to a state level of control while encouraging homeschooling. Parents are given authority and responsibility by God to train up their children in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). Every parent should be integrally involved with their children’s education. In addition, business and industry stands to gain the most from a properly educated work force. We need to work to eventually move all levels of education out of the hands of government and to be privately funded by industry and business to align student preparation with real-world job needs.

•OUTLAW HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGE

Marriage is an institution created by God, and is a covenant between one man and one woman. The U.S. Supreme Court overstepped its authority in saying that states must allow homosexual marriage or civil unions. Mississippi needs to ignore unrighteous rulings that are in misalignment with the Word of God, the U.S. Constitution, and the Mississippi Constitution. We need to pass laws declaring that marriage is between one man and one woman.

•OUTLAW PORNOGRAPHY

Pornography is not a right protected by the 1st Amendment any more than prostitution is. Pornography simply constitutes taking the evil act of prostitution and putting it on film. From the beginning of our nation’s history, our laws prohibited public nudity and prostitution. This is even more needful now that this evil content is readily accessible by any child with a device connected to the Internet.

•OUTLAW MINORS BEING ALLOWED AT DRAG QUEEN SHOWS

The normalization of sexual perversion and gender delusion has become commonplace. Not only this, but these perversions are being pressed upon our children through “drag queen story hours” where grooming is ushered in under the guise of literacy education. This was recently outlawed in Tennessee and upheld by the 6th Circuit of Appeals. We need to follow suit by doing the same thing in Mississippi.

•OUTLAW GENDER MEDICAL TREATMENT AND REASSIGNMENT SURGERY BASED ON GENDER CONFUSION

Gender confusion is a delusional state where someone thinks or desires to be the opposite sex or a “nonbinary” sex. This has led to countless episodes of medical malpractice of treating minors with puberty blockers to prevent their normal development. In addition, surgeons are regularly doing gender reassignment surgery where women receive mastectomies and men and women have penises or vaginas created. There is a condition called Body Integrity Dysphoria where a person is delusional and is convinced that their own arm or leg or other body part does not belong to them. Can you imagine a surgeon amputating a person’s arm or leg if someone had this condition? The surgeon would certainly be charged both civilly and criminally. History will judge us severely for allowing such evil in our society as gender reassignment surgery- especially among minors. We must pass laws now to outlaw this.

•REFORM THE PENAL AND JUDICIAL SYSTEM TO SPEED UP JUSTICE AND DEMAND THE DEATH PENALTY FOR ALL MURDER, RAPE, AND KIDNAPPING CONVICTIONS

God declares that “when the penalty for a crime is put off, the hearts of the sons of men are given over to do evil” (Ecclesiastes 8:11). We see this demonstrated in the American judicial system several ways. About 0.1% of convicted murderers are put to death in the United States. For those who are executed, the average length of time spent on death row is about 20 years. The God of Creation, who ordained government, calls for all murderers, rapists, and kidnappers to swiftly be put to death. This is not happening. As a result, the hearts of our population are given over to do more evil in contrast to the determent that would result from swift, righteous justice. The lack of justice is also clearly seen in our current judicial and penal system dealing with victimless crimes. If you sit through any city or county court, you will see that most “crimes” are victimless and are just a means to keep people enslaved by making money payments to the system. While this funds the bottomless judicial system, it does little to punish evil or reform “criminals” and it only gives restitution to the government. In addition, where there are victims, there is seldom restitution given to the victim.

•REDIRECT MISSISSIPPI TAX DOLLARS ONLY TO GOD-AUTHORIZED FUNCTIONS: DEFENSE, ROADS, AND JUSTICE

The God-given purpose of government is clear. We must begin immediately to stop the misuse of taxes for any purpose outside of these roles. While everyone has a list of areas they think are a waste of tax dollars, many make exceptions for this when it pertains to their personal desired projects. We must draw the line clearly and cease the usage of tax dollars beyond non-authorized purposes, including projects that we might benefit from. As the Founding Fathers constructed the 10th Amendment, their intention was to limit the federal government to specific enumerated powers, including the following:

1. Defense of our own shores-This does not include paying for endless wars around the world to try to build the American empire. We should have a military and local militias trained and equipped to defend our land against invading enemies.

2. Prosecution and punishment of criminals-This should only be done against criminals that create victims, and should be carried out swiftly. Our tax dollars should not be used to indefinitely cage men made in the image of God.

3. Infrastructure-The federal government should use tax dollars to fund infrastructure necessary for national defense and for the punishment of criminals.

•END GOVERNMENT INVOLVEMENT IN HEALTHCARE EXCEPT TO PUNISH CRIME OR PROMOTE GOOD

Government has no authority to be involved in the medical system other than to punish fraud and other criminal behavior. The single greatest detriment to our current medical system is the involvement of the government. We need to begin immediately to work towards removing government out of all medical decision-making and direction. Any government medical system such as Medicare or Medicaid must be privatized.
